About Us
The Diamond Group is the brainchild of friends and business partners, Robert
Buck and Martin Thurgate.
Both have a solid background in IT and a passion for
delivering outstanding customer service.
After banging their heads against a wall of apathy while working for others who didn’t share that passion, they realised they were staring down the barrel of a huge opportunity. The Business IT market was definitely ready for a service provider who was as interested in the customer’s business as their own.
Enter Diamond IT.
Rob and Martin put their ideas into practice and in the space of a
few years Diamond IT has grown in both size and reputation to
become the benchmark Business IT service provider in the region.
The rapid merging of phone and computer technologies presented another opportunity, and in 2008 the Group acquired local business phone company, Express Communications. After an interim name-change to Express Comms, it was given a Diamond ‘makeover’ and popped out the other end as Diamond Comms.
