Section 1 – Support Analyst Job Description

The Support Analyst role is a technical role within our support team.

Support Analysts often provide the first point of contact with our customers. Therefore, the successful candidate will need to display excellent customer service skills, have a strong work ethic and pay great attention to detail.

Key responsibilities include:

• Researching unresolved technical support issues and liaising with technical staff to ensure knowledge is shared and documented
• Continually looking for ways to improve, expand and develop our Managed Services platform
• Communicating with clients in layman’s terms when explaining findings and recommendations
• Maintenance of customer network and system documentation
• Liaising with third parties and external support providers
• Upgrading, troubleshooting, installing and administering PCs, servers and networks

To be successful in this role, you will need to have 1-3 years experience in an IT support environment, in addition to:

• An understanding of Microsoft's desktop operating systems is essential (exposure to Microsoft's server operating systems will be highly regarded)
• Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
• Superior customer focused communication skills
• The ability to manage your own time, including the ability to plan and organise workloads and set priorities
• High evaluation, analytical and problem solving skills
• A strong work ethic
